				Being Jewish in an area where there are few Jewish families presents a special challenge. One of the most important functions of Temple Beth Torah is to provide a forum for social and cultural interaction among our members. The Temple sponsors numerous social events during the year including picnics, dinners, excursions to theater events and ball games, social nights, as well as events associated with the holidays. The Temple sponsors a Temple-wide break the fast meal after the closing Yom Kippur service and our community Passover Seder regularly attracts over 100 participants.
