				Temple Beth Torah was founded in 1983 by a group of Jewish families who felt strongly that we needed a synagogue to serve the Humble-Kingwood area. Initially meeting at members houses and other venues, we purchased our current home in 1989. From the outset, Temple Beth Torah has been a driving force in the Jewish religious community in northeast Houston.
