				Dan Gordon has served as Temple Beth Torah's Spiritual Leader since  1998. Dan has distinguished himself in the fields of Jewish education and group work, having served as a camp  director, youth group director, Jewish Community Center program director, university lecturer and principal of a Jewish high school. Additionally, he has developed an international reputation as a storyteller and Jewish folklorist, touring throughout the U.S., Israel and Australia. Dan continues to present workshops and storytelling sessions throughout the community, helping people learn how the relationship between stories and tradition provides vital connections within the Jewish people and with our neighbors. He is a regular presenter at CAJE (Conference for Alternatives in Jewish Education), and makes frequent appearances to schools, universities and various other groups telling tales that promote understanding of differences.
				With his unique style of combining the rich tradition of Jewish folklore with Torah study, Dan encourages us to explore our heritage and helps us to under- stand how the lessons of the past can guide us into the future.
